Spanish Oak. (Quercus triloba) A large tree up to 100 feet occasionally. Found on dry soil. Leaves bristle-tipped, 5 to 7 inches long, with 3 to 7 lobes. The acorns do not ripen till the second year so we may expect the wood to be undurable, A cubic foot of it weighs 43 lbs.
