Dear Sir: I just recieved a letter from the headquarters of the Czechoslovak Boyscouts "Psohlavci" in Czecho- slovakia asking me as the exsecretary of the Czecho- slovak Legion of Chicago, to comunicate to you the necessary information concerning this Boyscouts movement over there, whose tendencies and aims are analogous with those of you Woodcraft League of America.

As in the whole world, likewise in Czechoslovakia started the revolution of children - the boy scout movement. Multitudes of boys as well as girls are ardent followers of the same. There are, however, two camps. One part tokes example from Baden- Powell, other from the Woodcraft League in America. We as Czechoslovak Boyscouts "Psohlavci", first ones organized in year 1911 accepted the original, close to the nature and ideally free, tendecies of yours, we preferred to be quiet during the Austrian reign,

than to be obliged to add to its militaristic show off, and true to our ideals, we proclaimed our independance from the english Boyscouts, stitching to ceremonies, copying The military and clerical chivalry.

We are mailing you under separate cover a copy of our Book "Přírodou a životem k čistému lidství" (Through nature and life to pure humanity) written by our leader proff. Seifert, with the assistance of some of your literary works. Enclosed you will find our insignia. In return we would appreciate if you would send us your latest book for the Boyscouts, also some copies of your monthly "The Totem Board". We are making pre- parations for editing our own proper and as soon we realizesty would be pleased to exchange regularly with yours.

We would also ask for a photo of Mr. Seton and the right to use it for postal cards.

As ardent followers of the Woodcraft League in America, we are … interested in all your undertakdings and would consider it great favor, if you will couply(?) with our wishes, It … our earnest desire to come into direct communication with you Mr. Seton.
